FASD-Understanding Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders

Introduces participants to FASD with emphasis on the effect of prenatal alcohol exposure
on the developing brain resulting in cognitive and behavioral difficulties. Participants
will learn general strategies to support persons with FASD. Participants will also learn
about the significance and prevention of Secondary Characteristics associated with
FASD.

FASD-Impact on Society and Legal Implications

Participants will gain an understanding of FASD and learn how FASD impacts our
society. Participants will also learn how FASD impacts the legal system and what the
implications are for society.
