  • No, you do not have to be a Christian to come to the Papillion Center. We are a faith-based organization that is based on who we are, not on who we expect our clients to be.

  • We see kids, adolescents, teenagers, college age, and parents. Our therapists see clients across all lifespans.

  • First, we see only the parent/guardian to learn about their clients history and full story.

    Second, the therapist will only see the child.

    Third, we see the parent/guardian again and decide a plan for therapy.

  • FASD stands for Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder. This can occur when a child is prenatally exposed to alcohol or drugs.

  • TBRI stands for Trust-Based Relational Intervention. TBRI’s 3 principles include: Connecting, Empowering, and Correcting. These strategies include behavioral matching, playful engagement, valuing eye contact, healthy touch and authoritative voice.
