No, you do not have to be a Christian to come to the Papillion Center. We are a faith-based organization that is based on who we are, not on who we expect our clients to be.

We see kids, adolescents, teenagers, college age, and parents. Our therapists see clients across all lifespans.

First, we see only the parent/guardian to learn about their clients history and full story.
Second, the therapist will only see the child.
Third, we see the parent/guardian again and decide a plan for therapy.

FASD stands for Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder. This can occur when a child is prenatally exposed to alcohol or drugs.

TBRI stands for Trust-Based Relational Intervention. TBRI’s 3 principles include: Connecting, Empowering, and Correcting. These strategies include behavioral matching, playful engagement, valuing eye contact, healthy touch and authoritative voice.
