What we do at the papillion center

The Papillion Center is a faith-based, not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) therapeutic center utilizing different techniques to bring about hope and healing to children and families in hard places.

Our goal is to assist and walk by your side no matter the difficulty or crisis you are facing. We offer individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, child and adolescent therapy, and group therapy.

Our work is based on Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and The Connected Child (Purvis & Cross.)

Therapeutic Intervention

We offer individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, child and adolescent therapy, and group therapy for a wide range of needs.

Behavior Dysregulation Program

Emotional dysregulation may cause angry outbursts, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, and other self-damaging behaviors. We work with you to develop skills and strategies for these feelings.

Advocacy

Being an advocate promotes and defends another person’s rights, needs, and interests. You may need an advocate if needs are not being met, or you are being denied rights. Being an advocate involves understanding issues, thinking about children’s needs and presenting solutions.

Educational Workshops

The Papillion Center has developed workshops that our staff can conduct at your site. This allows you to include multiple participants at a lower cost.

Telehealth Visits

We offer telehealth visits for clients residing in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Illinois.
